Auto Electrician Specialist

As a seasoned Auto Electrician, you will be joining the machine rebuilds team at our Perth Repair Centre based in Welshpool, WA. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a close-knit and successful workforce that values diversity and innovation.
We are seeking highly safety-focused, diagnostic, and technically skilled Auto Electricians to drive our day-to-day operations. You will work on a variety of machines, including 785C, 793D, 793F Trucks, D10,D10T, 16M,18 series graders, 854, 992, 994 Loaders, and complete rebuilds to deadline in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all 12/24-volt electrical repairs and undertake routine PM and upgrade improvements.
- Diagnostics fault finding on electrical systems.
- Use SIS on a daily basis.
- Ensure all electrical repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Assist other trades on site while working cohesively within a team to reach a common goal.
- Work safely to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
- Nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate.
- Current Australian Drivers licence.
- Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence - desired.
- Experience with Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment, advantageous but not essential.
- Additional licenses such as High Risk Work Licence and Working at Heights would be highly regarded.
- Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting ability with respect to heavy earth moving equipment electrical and wiring systems or transferrable skills of relevance.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution focus.
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
