About the Role

Rising Sun Pictures is seeking a highly experienced Senior VFX Producer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the highest quality, live-action feature films from bid through to delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the VFX Production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and crew.
  • Set and keep milestones to schedule, manage client expectations, and support RSP's technical and creative staff.
  • Work closely with VFX Supervisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual effects.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to establish project financials and create change orders.
  • Track and monitor all aspects of turnover, vendor shares, marketing requests, credit lists, and consolidation.
  • Lead by example and manage and mentor peers and members of the production team.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a VFX Producer in the film industry.
  • Proven strategic and project management experience across all areas of visual effects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of professionalism and control within a pressurized, time-sensitive working environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Shotgun and other scheduling tools.
  • Clear understanding of all aspects of the VFX workflow.
