The role of a Service Delivery Specialist plays a crucial part in maintaining high-quality open spaces within the city for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Maintaining around 300 parks and sporting grounds, natural areas, gardens, turf, trees, streetscapes, road medians, irrigation, playgrounds, and other park infrastructure is an integral part of this role.

Key responsibilities include leading analysis of maintenance operations in relation to service delivery by considering cost, risk, fleet, and machinery required, and then utilising this data for informed decision making.

This involves leading design and systems thinking, identifying strategic issues and opportunities across the Parks and Open Spaces team, highlighting where potential interventions could result in service delivery improvements and increased productivity.

An ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Business or a relevant field, a current driver's license, and industry-specific certifications.

They will also have advanced knowledge of parks and open space management, substantial experience in an analyst or related role, and demonstrated experience in performing maintenance performance analysis.
