The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scaffold Design Engineer to join our Scaffold Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the creation and management of scaffold designs according to Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scaffold design strategies to ensure compliance with Australian standards
  • Manage end-to-end deliverables on multiple and interdisciplinary projects
  • Oversee procurement of scaffolding materials and equipment
  • Facilitate effective communication with Scaffolding Leadership team and clients to address technical queries and ensure effective project delivery
  • Support the continuous improvement of scaffold design innovations and projects efficiency

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Engineering degree in Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience in temporary work design and estimating in the mining industry, oil & gas, construction, or commercial works
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and tender packages requests for quotation
  • High-level skills in AutoCAD, Navis Works, MS software, and Avontus
  • Project Management experience is highly desirable
  • Exceptional analytical and organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to OH&S
  • Experience in multidisciplinary environments
  • Diligent and methodical approach with excellent communication skills
