Santos Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Advisor to deliver high-quality communications materials for the Eastern Australia region.

This is a key role that will support the business unit and corporate communications objectives by developing comprehensive communications plans and strategies.

  • Develop high-quality, engaging content for internal and external audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen staff engagement and develop internal communications materials.
  • Develop external communications channels and materials in consultation with corporate comms, brand, and marketing teams.
  • Support regional 3rd-party external communications requests.
  • Ensure key messages are aligned across all regional communications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a professional external affairs role with advanced writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects, and effectively project manage external consultants and contractors.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-organisational projects and initiatives.
  • Experience in establishing relationships and developing local and First Nation participation strategies.
  • Background in the oil and gas industry is desirable.

Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Community & Aboriginal Affairs, Business, etc.

Ad-hoc travel is expected.
