Electronics Installation and Maintenance Role

This position involves installing, testing, and maintaining electronic equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
  • Analyze schematic diagrams for wiring configurations
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on implementing new designs into existing systems
  • Construct and install low-voltage switchboards, cabinets, pillars, and pits
  • Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring proper functioning of machines, equipment, and instruments
  • Assemble and test equipment, followed by adjustments as needed
  • Promote safe operating procedures among users to prevent malfunctions
  • Process messages, interpreting codes and converting them into understandable language, in addition to writing and typing messages for transmission
  • Monitor radio communications, transmitting and receiving voice messages
  • Install electronic instruments and control systems

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a trade qualification or equivalent
  • Prior experience in switchboard manufacturing or installation is beneficial
  • Able to read and comprehend schematic drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities
  • Motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics
