About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Associate Engineer to join our team at Canonical. As a Cloud Support Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for cloud-based environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and technical notices to share knowledge and best practices with the team
  • Participate in regular weekend working rotations to ensure 24/7 support coverage
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and provide expert-level support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, MIS, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting, server administration, and cloud computing concepts
  • Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, including languages such as bash, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, C, or C++
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel, if required
