Cardiac Echocardiographer Position Overview

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary healthcare environment providing patient-centred care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment and record appropriate study images.
  • Manage administrative duties such as data entry and recording of anomalies in patient notes.
  • Participate in clinical trials and triage request forms and tests.
  • Interact with wards and units in stressful situations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac) or equivalent and current ASAR accreditation.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform echocardiographic studies and report findings effectively.
  • Effective communication skills for emergency situations.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills for working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Remuneration: $51.23-$56.69 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDOs.
