Director of Strategic Research Initiatives

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly accomplished Director to lead our strategic research initiatives and drive sustainable outcomes. As Executive Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization, ensuring the delivery of cross-disciplinary research programs that align with our research themes.

You will be responsible for leading high-performing teams, managing budget and financial operations, and developing strategies to drive results aligned with our vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement research programs aligned with organizational priorities
  • Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure sustainable outcomes
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN PRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY, COMMUNITY, AND ACADEMIC PARTNERS
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A strong track record of leadership and strategy development
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with industry and academic partners
What We Offer:

The successful candidate will be offered a 5-year fixed-term position on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
