Job Description

This is a 10-week assignment with the Department. It involves providing support to senior leaders and contributing to policy, process documentation, and business support activities.

The successful candidate will lead financial accounting functions, providing analysis and advice on budget management and financial reporting.

In this role, you will also develop and implement financial systems and practices that contribute to improved financial management.

  • Manage comprehensive financial reports for division leaders, including budget forecasting, variance reporting, and expenditure reconciliations.
  • Establish and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of corporate data.
  • Provide financial advice to staff on operational issues and sensitive briefs, memos, and submissions.
