At Fujitsu, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of testing outcomes and ensuring the quality of testing processes.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in managing complex testing activities, developing and managing test cases, and liaising with project teams to ensure the use of appropriate methodology and testing tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing strategies, quality assurance processes, and the ability to think strategically and align operational activity accordingly.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the timely delivery of testing outcomes and ensuring the quality of testing processes
  • Developing and managing test cases for different types of testing
  • Liaising with project teams to ensure the use of appropriate methodology and testing tools
  • Reviewing complex test cases to ensure quality
  • Contributing to the approach for scripting, test data requirements gathering, and test data gathering
  • Defining and documenting requirements for test environments
  • Developing and managing team improvement initiatives and projects
  • Identifying, analyzing, managing, and reporting on trends of defects, programming errors, and inconsistent operational characteristics
  • Conducting complex testing to ensure the ICT service functions as per requirements
  • Undertaking test effort estimation and managing resources to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Leading and supporting operations of the team, including monitoring business performance, setting priorities, and managing resources and workflow
  • Leading and managing staff, including overseeing the management of performance, attendance, health, and wellbeing
  • Developing staff capability through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning to increase performance, engagement, and retention
  • Contributing to and influencing ICT strategy, resolving conflicts as needed
  • Monitoring and managing work output and quality, against established performance standards through interpretation of quality analysis and reporting
  • Reporting on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators, and quality assurance to manage performance
  • Proactively sharing knowledge and expertise, and providing assistance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues
  • Preparing and reviewing a range of written material, including technical and corporate documentation
  • Assisting with the management of finances, resources, and budget requirements and issues within the area of responsibility
  • Collaborating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
  • Engaging and partnering with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
  • Attending interagency meetings and forums to influence business outcomes and share information
  • Encouraging innovation, continuous improvement, and managing and supporting change
  • Managing team contribution to costing process
  • Exercising delegation in accordance with legislation and guidelines
