Service Officer Role

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Service Officer. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our post office.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a licensed post office or counter services environment. They will possess strong communication skills, be energetic and friendly, and have a good understanding of the mail handling process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers
  • Process mail and packages efficiently and accurately
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a counter service role (preferably at Australia Post)
  • Ability to lift up to 16kg of mail on a repetitive basis
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment national police check
  • Valid Australian work authorization

Preferred Skills:

  • Passport and EIS transaction experience

Working Hours: Afternoon shift, Day shift, Morning shift
