We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Whitsunday Regional Council. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Collaborate with our maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall reliability.
- Analyze Performance Metrics: Analyze performance metrics and benchmark our maintenance performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Build Business Partnerships: Build strong relationships with our operations team to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Support Reliability Improvements: Support the elimination of defects in our maintenance system, including defects in parts, procedures, work quality, and processes.
- Develop Operating Standards: Develop and maintain operating standards, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistency and quality in our maintenance activities.
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree or Trade Qualification: A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a trade qualification in a related field.
- Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to safety and a proven ability to demonstrate risk management and HSEC behaviors.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with our operations team and other stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP and Asset Management Software: Experience with SAP and asset management software is highly desirable.
