We are seeking a highly skilled EAP Counsellor to join our team at Centrecare. As an EAP Counsellor, you will provide short-term counselling and psychological services to support individual wellbeing. You will work across our Perth, Gosnells, and Fremantle branches, delivering face-to-face, online, or telephone services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide EAP counselling, coaching, supervision, and training to employees and workplaces.
- Work up to 2 evening shifts per week, 12pm until 8pm.
- Identify and resolve work and personal problems that may affect performance.
- Deliver counselling within a time-limited context.
- Support the delivery of AWS training programs.
- Arrange referrals to other services for clients requiring specialist support.
- Provide onsite counselling support and critical incident response as required.
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related Social Sciences.
- Current AHPRA registration, ACA, AASW, or PACFA membership.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in short-term counselling to a diverse client group.
- Understanding of workplace dynamics and factors impacting performance.
- Experience in trauma-informed interventions.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace intervention strategies.
- Capacity to travel and work independently.
- High-level administration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children's Card.
