Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Psychologist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will have experience working with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants and possess excellent clinical skills.

The role involves managing a caseload of NDIS participants, conducting comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, delivering person-centred interventions, and providing written reports to the NDIS.

  1. Manage a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds.
  2. Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpret findings, and collaborate to set and achieve goals aligned with NDIS Plans.
  3. Deliver person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, including therapeutic support and stakeholder training.
  4. Monitor, interpret, report, and address signs of risk and acute distress during therapeutic interventions.
  5. Provide written reports to NDIS outlining progress and ongoing needs.
  6. Stay informed of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Current general registration with AHPRA.
  2. Experience working with NDIS participants.
  3. Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills.
  4. Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  5. Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  6. Active ABN.
