Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and help us build a cutting-edge AI infrastructure. As an Elixir Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fault-tolerant control planes that make AI compute feel seamless, distributed, and incredibly efficient.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Elixir, Erlang, or Gleam and OTP (or similar functional programming) for distributed and fault-tolerant systems. Experience building event-driven architectures, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NATS, is also required. Additionally, strong understanding of distributed databases and state management, including PostgreSQL, ETS, Mnesia, or Redis, is necessary.

You will work closely with our AI researchers to create developer-friendly interfaces and APIs. Your expertise in securing Elixir applications and cloud and multi-cloud integrations (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) is crucial to the success of this role.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement fault-tolerant control planes for AI compute.
  2. Develop highly available Elixir-based control systems for scheduling, monitoring, and scaling AI workloads.
  3. Build event-driven architectures for orchestration, state management, and billing.
  4. Optimize real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
  5. Implement security best practices in authentication, encryption, and API access control.
  6. Work closely with AI researchers to create developer-friendly interfaces and APIs.
Requirements
  • Deep experience with Elixir, Erlang, or Gleam and OTP (or similar functional programming).
  • Experience building event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of distributed databases and state management (PostgreSQL, ETS, Mnesia, Redis).
  • Knowledge of cloud and multi-cloud integrations (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience with securing Elixir applications.
