Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Interface Validator. This role will involve verifying and validating interfaces within the organization, ensuring they meet the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive and agile, and have knowledge of ATS systems and Alstom platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the definition of Project Verification and Validation strategy and implement it proactively.
  • Define verification methodology for selected deliverables when requested from V&V strategy.
  • Define test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities, liaising with PrCOM for exported tests.
  • Perform and report on allocated verification, integration, and test activities.
  • Share and justify results with Safety Assurance Manager to feed safety demonstration.
  • Interface with experts in other departments to align on selected V&V activity methodology.
  • Represent the company in front of customers or partners, providing overview of test progress, issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Specify, procure, develop, set up, and configure assets such as testbenches and instrumentation.
  • Provide data to maintain applicable KPIs.
  • Provide valuable feedback for REX sessions and continuous improvement.
  • Manage configuration and change management cycle related to V&V activities (simulation configuration, anomaly tracking, etc.).
  • Follow up with T&C for tests exported to site execution.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and agile approach, with ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of ATS system and different Alstom platforms.
  • SIGNIFICANT experience in Rail Signalling or integration and testing experience.
  • Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Systems or similar).
