We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Officer to provide administrative support to our team at Davidson. As an Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of executive and administrative support services, including preparation of accurate and timely reports, correspondence, and other documents, financial management, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive support for meetings chaired, including preparing agendas, papers, and minutes, prioritizing correspondence, and responding to outstanding queries and requests for information.
- Development and processing of briefing notes, executive correspondence, and ministerial requests in line with the department's approval protocols and timeframe targets.
- Manage preparation of briefings to inform senior executives and internal and external stakeholders on forums and issues relating to projects.
- Provide high-level quality executive, administrative, financial, and operational services and advice.
Selection Criteria:
- Must have experience providing high-level executive support, project management, strategic planning, and administrative support.
- Demonstrated experience with processing of briefing notes, correspondence, and ministerial requests.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume inbox and calendars.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating the distribution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence – tracking, monitoring, and responding to requests.
- Proofreading and formatting outgoing correspondence.
- Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in the office as well as from home if the role allows.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
- Demonstrated experience working within Government will be highly regarded.

- Short- and long-term contracts.
- $56.52 to $91.93 per hour + Super (Agency Contractor - PAYG).
