Job Title: Food Services Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our team at ISS Health Services P/L. As a Food Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures.

The Role:
  • Prepare and present patient meals, including salads, sandwiches, and drinks, to the highest standard.
  • Clean and sanitize patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery, and trolleys to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Prepare work stations, including assembling items and stocking consumables, to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Work in various shifts across seven days, including morning and afternoon shifts, to meet the needs of our patients.

Minimum Criteria:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is highly desirable.
  • Must hold a valid Working with Children Card.
  • Must have a valid Police Check within 3 months.
  • Have all 3 COVID Vaccinations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare facility.
  • Ability to work within a rotating roster.
  • Must have a genuine interest in working with and caring for people.
