Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team on a 10-12 week contract basis. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management on our high-rise project in the CBD.
About the Role:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of HSE practices into project delivery.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety (Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV).
- Proven experience working as a HSE Advisor in commercial construction.
- High rise experience is desirable.
- Senior First Aid & Working at Heights & any other relevant high-risk licences.
- ICAM Incident Investigation.
- Fire warden training preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain a brilliant safety culture.
- Available to start immediately.
- Would suit someone on a working holiday visa.
