About the Role

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Teacher to join our team at Stromlo Leisure Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to a diverse range of ages and abilities.

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills
  • Work collaboratively with other Swim Teachers and centre staff to achieve centre goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre programs and initiatives

Requirements

  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People and National Police Check
  • Current Swim Teaching Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
