Senior Workforce Program Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring timely delivery of workforce-related objectives for the SSN AUKUS Build Program.
  • Establish clear goals and drive results through effective ownership and leadership.
  • IDentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, including proactive measures to address concerns.
  • Maintain alignment with program strategy and ensure delivery of contractual obligations.
  • Provide regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders, fostering open communication.

 

About You

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical, business, or project management discipline or equivalent experience in a complex program environment.
  • Professional certifications/memberships in AIPM (Association for Innovation and Project Management).
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a complex project environment at a Project Manager level (or equivalent), including demonstrated success in leading projects or portfolios.
  • Desirable: Experience and knowledge in supporting P&C/Workforce projects or Human Resources field.
  • Demonstrated project management or workforce planning experience in strategic planning within a complex environment, preferably in defence.
  • Exceptional customer service, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams across several business areas, shaping outcomes and implementing program requirements.
  • Demonstrated capacity to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • An ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management.
