The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate to support major infrastructure and energy projects for domestic and international clients.

As a leading construction firm, we advise on complex projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Our team regularly acts for head contractors and developers in relation to project documents, joint venture arrangements, supply contracts, and connection agreements.

You will lead matters or work streams with high responsibility and autonomy. You must be a technical expert with strong drafting and negotiation skills. Additionally, you will contribute to business development activities, identify new client opportunities, and contribute strategically to proposal and tender efforts.

Though based in Perth, you will also work closely with the Sydney team to provide them with support.

Key Requirements:
  • An Australian qualified lawyer with one to three years' post-qualification experience in private practice
  • Demonstrated experience in front-end construction and infrastructure law
  • Strong organisational skills, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
  • Energy and passion for the role
