Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our National Abuse Law team in Brisbane. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for managing an abuse law practice, resolving complex and litigated matters, and contributing to the development and success of your practice area.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a high number of new client matters, including complex and litigated cases
  • Working with senior practitioners, counsel, and external experts to clarify legal issues
  • Building strong relationships with counsel and other key stakeholders
  • Raising the profile of your practice group through media publications
  • Effectively managing your file load and compliance with national practice standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-admission experience (8+ PAE) as a Personal Injury Lawyer
  • Sound legal technical experience, including case management and achieving best outcomes for clients
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A systematic and structured approach to work
  • Effective planning and delivery of projects
