We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Canberra, ACT.

This role involves delivering specialist services to clients in the Defence Maritime environment, with a focus on Navy surface and above water combat systems. The successful candidate will have experience providing support services to Defence Capability Project Sponsors and will be able to develop and review Defence Capability artefacts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Eliciting Capability requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Developing and reviewing Defence Capability artefacts, including Sponsors Papers, Operational Concept Document, Joint Capability Needs Statement, Capability Realisation Plan, Enterprise Workforce Realisation Plan, Concepts of Operations, and Functional Performance Specifications

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Fundamental Inputs to Capability in Defence and the role they play in Capability Realisation. They will also be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Defence Maritime Capability, especially combat systems and training systems
  • Navy engineering or warfare operations background
  • Broad professional network in Defence Maritime Capability
  • Post graduate qualifications in Defence Capability Management
