Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of specific infrastructure components.

This includes implementing new releases as required, investigating and installing new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in network operations, with a strong focus on Routing, Switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon and EVPN understanding.

  • Implement new releases as required and investigate and install new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business
  • Provide specialised, escalated support and technical assistance and assist with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner
  • Assist in the design of backup and recovery procedures and plan and undertake effective Disaster Recovery and testing procedures to ensure effective Disaster Recovery plans are developed, documented, tested and implemented
  • Undertake problem determination and root cause analysis as directed to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented appropriately
  • Plan, review and critique proposed changes and implement where applicable to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure changes

Candidates should have 6 years' experience in working in Datacentre technologies, with hand-on experience on Datacentre Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.
