About the Role

Pilbara Meta Maya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Municipal Services Supervisor to join our team in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Guide Municipal Services Teams: Provide direction and oversight to ensure that all contractual breakdowns and project works are completed effectively and safely.
  • Travel to Remote Communities: Assist Municipal Services (MUNS) teams and client audit teams in remote communities as required.
  • Evaluate and Address Unique Challenges: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unique challenges and ensure compliance with contractual KPIs, budget constraints, and industry standards.
  • Manage Operations Schedules: Assist in the creation and management of operations schedules for staff and contractors, and regularly report on these to the Municipal Services Manager.
  • Promote Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards: Ensure that all work-related documentation is processed and completed in a timely manner, and identify and implement appropriate training for MUNS staff in conjunction with management.
  • Support Company Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with WHS, Environmental, Quality, and Risk standards, and support company policies and procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Manual C-Class Driver's Licence: A valid manual C-class driver's licence is essential for this role.
  • First Aid Certification: First Aid certification is required, or you must be willing to obtain it.
  • Demonstrated Experience in Supervisory Role: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a busy work environment is essential.
  • Strong Understanding of Safety Procedures: A strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to navigate unique and varying challenges is required.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are essential for this role.
