Cybersecurity Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team focused on strengthening cloud platform security and compliance in a dynamic financial services environment. The specialist will play a key role in implementing and enhancing cloud-native security controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and addressing findings from recent audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop security control requirements for public cloud platforms (primarily AWS).
  • Partner with vulnerability management teams to design and implement cloud container vulnerability scanning processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop protocols for container image hygiene and remediation.
  • Drive development and implementation of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) strategies.
  • Map CSPM policies to regulatory compliance frameworks and industry standards.
  • Support cloud governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) efforts to ensure sustainable and auditable security practices.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation and reporting processes related to cloud security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing and implementing security control requirements in public cloud platforms.
  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to financial services (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, SOC 2).
  • Hands-on experience with CSPM tools and custom policy development.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while actively contributing to team efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in AWS security principles and architecture.
  • Experience in container security, including vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools and processes related to cloud environments.
  • Security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud container platforms (e.g., ECS, EKS, Docker) is a plus.
