About the Position

The ideal candidate will have expertise in government, public policy, legislative and parliamentary processes, as well as a proven track record of delivering outcomes in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present authoritative advice, documentation, briefings, correspondence, submissions and reports to articulate social value concepts for various stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of place-based policy and program design to recognize the role of host communities and landholders in supporting renewable energy zones.
  • Manage complex projects, recognizing barriers and developing effective solutions to deal with them. Actively manage risks and work with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of tasks.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership and collaborative working style.
  • Understanding of government, public policy, legislative and parliamentary processes.
  • Track record of delivering outcomes in challenging policy, regulatory and/or technical environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in social policy or similar field.
