Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team as a data management professional, tasked with ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of business data. You will be responsible for coordinating regulatory data feeds, investigating data quality issues, and driving improvements in data quality using data management tools.

You will work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and identify areas for automation. Additionally, you will be responsible for capturing metadata across critical data sets and embedding best-of-breed data governance tools.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and build a network across multiple teams and contribute to high-profile transactions while working in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold tertiary qualifications with a high level of academic achievement
  • PC literacy, particularly in Excel
  • Minimum 1-2 years financial services or financial markets experience
  • High numeracy skills with the ability to interrogate, interpret, and draw conclusions from multiple data sources
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and determining solutions
  • Ability to convey complex and technical requirements to peer and senior colleagues
  • Understanding of data management and exposure to data mapping and data lineage tools
  • Familiarity with contemporary data quality technology and metadata management technology
  • Experience with writing SQL queries and understanding basic database modelling
