Community Venue Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our vibrant community venue. As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue management, including event coordination, staffing, vendor partnerships, stock control, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing venue or hospitality operations, strong leadership skills, solid financial management abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with event organisers, suppliers, and gaming operators to ensure seamless operations and create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage venue operations, including event setups, staffing, and vendor partnerships
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive profitability and efficiency across the venue
  • Lead a team of duty managers, supervisors, and hospitality professionals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing venue or hospitality operations
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and roster staff
  • Solid financial management abilities, including budgets and POS systems
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-first mindset
  • Knowledge of licensing, health & safety, and compliance frameworks
