The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality data design solutions in alignment with information and analytics architecture. This includes providing data design services, developing enterprise data models, and influencing solution design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality data designs in alignment with information and analytics architecture
  • Provide data design services, including conceptual data modelling, logical data modelling, data vault modelling, dimensional modelling, semantic layer design, ETL design, data labs considerations, table and view optimisation, aggregation, materialisation, and performance considerations
  • Develop enterprise data models in alignment with reference data models
  • Influence solution design decisions, including choice of data modelling techniques, reporting tools or cubes, static delivery vs interactive reports, extracts vs runtime lookups, security methods, and archiving methods
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in delivering high-quality data designs in a business intelligence environment
  • Strong understanding of data modelling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
  • Ability to develop enterprise data models in alignment with reference data models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence solution design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
