About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 3-4 years of investment banking or sell-side M&A experience, with at least 2-3 successfully closed deals.
  • Background in Software or Technology M&A is a strong plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Skilled in creating Information Memorandums, pitch decks, and teasers.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
  • Capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in negotiating offers, deal structures, and transaction documents throughout the M&A process.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across global teams.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with financial databases such as S&P Capital IQ.
  • Deep interest and passion for investment banking.
