Job Opportunity: Senior Obstetric and Gynaecology Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished medical professional to fill the role of Senior Obstetric and Gynaecology Specialist. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or both, with a strong clinical background in managing complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional clinical care and leadership in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or combined Obstetrics and Gynaecology services
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for acute obstetric and gynaecological services
  • Supervise and support junior medical staff, while actively engaging in teaching and research activities
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
Essential Criteria:
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
  • Registration (or ability for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Extensive experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or both, with a strong clinical background in managing complex cases
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide leadership in a multidisciplinary setting
