We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our team at HMP and YOI Werrington, a young offenders prison. As a Clinical Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures. Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable but not essential.
- Undertake medication rounds and dispense controlled medication as required.
- Attend emergency response situations and assess patients promptly.
- Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care.
You will also have opportunities for career development within the Practice Plus Group, which makes a real difference across over 53 prisons, young offenders, and immigration removal centres.
Key Requirements- Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills.
