Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and certification requirements as identified in the maintenance organisation manual and as required by the civil aviation regulations.
  • Maintain the engineering infrastructure necessary to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Deliver general support of the broader RPT network operations, including proactive leadership of Melbourne engineering base and participation in the broader engineering leadership.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with aircraft maintenance.
  • Monitor serviceability of ground equipment and manage a preventative maintenance/service program for ground support equipment.
  • Manage engineering staff and coordinate manpower, equipment, tooling, data and aeronautical products to ensure timely completion of all maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • A proven self-starter with a flexible attitude.
  • Ability to manage a close-knit team and work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility.
  • Experience in airline operations.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a high workload environment.
