Lead Educator Opportunity

About our centre

We are a family-owned and operated group of centres, providing quality care and education since 2003.

Our Carina centre is built on secure relationships with families and children. We cater to different types of learning and play through our unique environments.

As a Lead Educator, you will be part of a diverse and close-knit team, striving for high-quality programs and practices.

The role requires:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar lead educator role
  • A current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
  • Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Computer skills to use online programming software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build rapport with families, colleagues, and stakeholders

This is a permanent part-time position with 37.5 hours per week, across five days. Full availability is required to work Monday to Friday between business operational hours of 6:30am - 6pm.

  1. Implement and maintain high-quality educational programs
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families and staff
  3. Contribute to the centre's professional development and growth

Skillset and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Children's Services
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role

  • Proficient computer skills and online programming knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
