Job Overview

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to clients with Autism and ADHD in various locations across Melbourne, including Inner East Melbourne, Bayside, and North Melbourne. You will work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing individualized support to clients with Autism and ADHD
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility
  • Participating in client-centered planning and goal setting
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal client outcomes
  • Meeting the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working with children and young adults with Autism and ADHD
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • A Police Check, Vaccinations, Basic Life Skills/First Aid, and the right to work in Australia
  • A Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability, and/or Mental Health Care Qualification (preferred)

What We Offer

At My People Solutions, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide:

  • Induction and ongoing support, training, and development opportunities
  • Supported 24/7, with a duty manager always on call
  • Flexibility to work from 2 hours a week upwards
