As a Registered Nurse - Acute Services, you will contribute to the delivery of professional, high-quality patient care within the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Acute Services - Ward A.
Key Responsibilities- Assess individual patient needs and plan, implement, or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
- Provide health education, counseling, and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups.
- Support and guide newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other workers providing basic nursing care.
- Develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience, and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
- Eligibility for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards.
- Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads.
