About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Civica UK Ltd. As a key member of our platform team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based platform and internal developer platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage containerized applications using Docker, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Manage Docker images, security standards, and performance issues.
  • Deploy infrastructure stacks for platform-related services using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Scripting & Automation, Linux Administration, and Windows administration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Go is highly preferred.
  • Maintain high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable systems for both internal and external use.
  • Solve complex technical problems and help teams improve older platforms using modern approaches.
