Early Childhood Leader Position

We are seeking an exceptional individual to continue bringing our education and care model to life as a Lead Service provider at an innovative centre for early years.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will oversee the operational aspects of the kindergarten as the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.
  • Mentoring and coaching of teaching teams will be a key responsibility.
  • The position requires providing a high-quality program of education and care based on children's strengths, dispositions, skills, and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsibility for day-to-day operations of kindergartens will be crucial.
  2. Monitoring quality and compliance with policies and procedures is essential.
  3. Working collaboratively with families, children, community stakeholders, and networks is vital.
  4. The successful candidate will support the implementation of our early years model with full training provided.
  5. Participating in Lead Teacher networks and communities of practice will also be required.
Requirements:
  • A proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment is necessary.
  • A comprehensive understanding of child development from 3-6 years old is essential.
  • Experience in working in partnership with other services and agencies is desirable.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate personal values aligned with organisational values.
