About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced transport planning specialist to join our NSW/ACT Transport Planning team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in transport planning and modelling, and be passionate about delivering high-quality projects that make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery through data analysis, automation/scripting, and operational/strategic modelling
  • Develop solutions for infrastructure and planning projects, and write reports to communicate findings
  • Check own work prior to senior review, consistent with Arup's Quality Management System

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience in transport planning or modelling (ideally within a consulting business environment)
  • Awareness and interest in major transport issues, emerging priorities, and critical issues as part of a wider transport planning agenda
  • Experience in planning for all modes in transport assessments including walking, cycling, and public transport
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup's related procedures including OH&S
