We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Flooring Specialist to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality flooring solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret plans and instructions for specific projects
  • Measure areas to be covered and estimate quantities of floor covering materials required
  • Prepare surfaces for covering, removing baseboard trims, and clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions
  • Lay coverings, such as wood, carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles, and other resilient flooring materials
  • Secure floor coverings and fit edge trims in doorways
  • Manage stock of components parts and ensure quality control of all products
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • Trade qualified
  • Knowledge in operating a wide range of hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality checks on completed work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable

This role offers a competitive salary between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company.
