As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our common areas, including the Community Hall, Offices, and toilets, as well as the toilets and showers in the pool area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality cleaning services in the common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service, responding promptly to any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Report and record any maintenance issues, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the Manager - Care.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist within other areas as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
  • Follow all Workplace, Health and Safety standards, reporting any safety or security concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated similar domestic or commercial cleaning skills and experience, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage, with a understanding of the needs and expectations of older adults.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people, including residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Full Driver's Licence (desirable), with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing.
