Occupational Therapist Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Western Australia.
As a mobile clinician, you will be providing care to Australians wherever they call home. Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in supporting the independence of our clients at home.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Conduct comprehensive assessments for Home Care Package clients to support their independence at home.
- Deliver rehabilitation programs focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation.
- Support Hospital in the Home program clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries.
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, develop and implement programs, and facilitate group sessions for Residential Aged Care clients.
- Prescribe equipment to meet the needs of clients.
Requirements:
">- Fully registered or Limited Registered (remote level) Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a community or Aged Care setting or willingness to learn.
- Comfortable travelling to clients across the region and provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel).
