We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our specialist team, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Treatment of primary accession and referred cases in our emergency department
- Shared care of hospitalized patients from the primary emergency caseload and other specialist departments
- Management of critical cases involving discussion and assistance from multiple specialist disciplines
- Permanent part-time or full-time position with a flexible roster
- Support during transition and ongoing collaboration with senior veterinarians, phone support, and skilled nurses
- Competitive hourly rate for hours worked
- Up to 5 weeks annual leave, study leave, and other perks

Our hospital is a large 24-hour multidisciplinary facility based in Melbourne. Our team includes veterinarians, nurses, and support staff working alongside specialists in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency & critical care.
Requirements:- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent with Victorian registration essential
- Experience in an emergency veterinary setting desirable, but not required
- Interest and some experience in routine and emergency surgery ideal
- Commitment to being a team player, good communicator, and contributing to a positive workplace environment
