Local Delivery Driver

Deliver vital goods to essential industries and help trade customers get the materials they need.

This role offers a path to advancement within our network and you'll be supporting local communities every day - building relationships as you go. So being good with people is a must.

You'll load and track delivery runs locally, maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within our facilities and vehicles. You'll also handle retail trade sales and customer quotes & deliver exceptional customer service.

We're looking for team players with exceptional safety awareness and clean drivers' licenses who can pick orders, manage stock control activities and maintain our warehouse standards.

Pick from available days, including Thursday and Friday 8:30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am - 12pm (also able to add one other day during the week). As a team player with us, you'll have opportunities to advance in the business and enjoy various daily tasks.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • No industry experience required
  • Customer service experience is essential, along with confidence, initiative & enthusiasm
  • Clean drivers' licence and some general computer skills

Requirements:

  • Loading and accurately tracking, submitting and completing delivery runs locally
  • Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch and vehicles
  • Handling over the counter retail trade sales and customer quotes & delivering exceptional customer service
  • Picking orders, warehousing and stock control activities
