Lead Fire Protection Engineer

Our client is an internationally recognised engineering institution providing specialist fire protection solutions for the mining and heavy industry. With 25 years of experience, they offer an established business with opportunities to expand your Fire Design skills from base level commercial projects to mega mining jobs on the international stage.
- Copper Projects in South America (Peru, Chile)
- Gold Projects in Mexico
- Solvent Extraction Plant in Nevada, USA
- Copper / Gold Project in Mongolia
- Rare Earths Projects in Africa
As a 'wet' Fire designer (Mechanical focus), you will use your existing design skill set in the following areas:
- Fire Sprinkler System
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Fire Water tanks, pumps, reticulation
- Hydraulics
- Fire Hose reels systems
You will gain exposure to the nuances of design within the heavy environment on projects in mining, metals, Oil and gas and industrial projects both domestically and internationally.
Any site-based flow testing experience would be an advantage, however this is something you can gain exposure to in this role if you so desire.
