Leadership Role in Early Learning

We are seeking an experienced early learning professional to join our team as a leadership figure.

In this role, you will support the Centre Director in strategic planning, mentor and build capabilities within the centre team, and be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.

You will work alongside a supportive and experienced Director who has been with the centre.

The successful candidate will have experience in early learning and a strong background in centre leadership or similar.

  • Support the Centre Director in strategic planning to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence

About the Centre

This is an 80-place, six-room centre with a diverse and multicultural team.

We are located on Aberdeen Street in the heart of Geelong, Newtown, just off Latrobe Terrace and in walking distance to the CBD and train station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations
  • Lead by example and promote a positive culture
  • Build and maintain relationships with staff and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in early learning
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
