We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Darwin. This role involves conducting inventory tasks, account management and stocktakes, ensuring they are completed within specified time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, unload and inspect goods
  • Storage and organisation within store locations
  • Pick, pack and prepare goods for order fulfilment
  • Inventory management including participation in regular stocktakes
  • Operating equipment such as forklift, pallet jack or other equipment for handling of goods
  • Communicate with team members, suppliers and customers
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure competency skills and licenses are maintained and attend appropriate training
  • Assist with maintenance record keeping and documentation
  • Maintain housekeeping of stores areas
Requirements
  • Proficiency relevant to the trade environment
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory accounting or commercial equivalent
  • Possess a current Australian State or Territory open drivers license for C classes of vehicles
  • Good communication, problem solving, writing and analysis skills
  • Well-developed computer skills including SAP, Microsoft and Defence systems desirable
